Q. What are the approximate sizes of the tent sites?

A. We have over a dozen designated tent sites and a large area where tents are also permitted:

Creekside and Hill:
A number of sites are available down here and are the easiest and closest sites to the parking lot.

Sheltered Campfire:
A large single site with room for 2 tents, one large and one small, right next to each other. It is up a short steep hill, about a 2-4 minute walk from the entrance and parking lot (about 500 feet). Private Campfire.

Redwood Ring: 


These sites are suitable for individuals and couples seeking a basic tent site with a balance between some privacy and convenience. 
Shared Campfire.

North Slope:
These sites are suitable for individuals, couples and groups seeking the most privacy. 
All three sites have their Private Campfires.
Site 1A&B: 2 tent sites included, the main one with a campfire (1A) is approximately 10x20.Another smaller site (1B) is approximately 10x11 and about 30 feet away, uphill, overlooking the 1A.

Site 2: - 8x12 feet. Fits a small tent for 2 people.

Site 3: - 18x26. The most remote, private and largest site. It is at the very top of the property. Private Campfire and (non-potable) water tank hose.


Q. When are you open?

A. We are open on Friday and Saturday nights, usually from December through October. In addition, we are usually open Summer Holiday Sunday nights Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day).


Q. Do you have Drinking Water?


A. No, there is no Drinking Water available at this time. Please bring AT LEAST a gallon per person for drinking, cooking and tooth brushing. There is untreated water for putting out your campfire, the shower and basic washing.
